The Ichiban Kuji format is basically you buying multiple lottery tickets that guarantee you a prize of one of the tiers. If you’re lucky you’ll get the one you want. I’ve only ever bought from the Japanese store so I asked a friend who has experience with the HSR kujis.

From what she told me, the official TMall store will usually put up a Kuji listing that has all their kuji ticket types to choose from. You purchase the tickets, scroll down and tap into another link that’ll send you to the lottery page. You pull like gacha over there and the prizes are shown on page. For prize tiers (like G or H) where there are multiple designs in one tier, they’re usually randomised (blind-boxed) so you won’t get to choose the character you want and may get duplicates.. I think this then gets reflected into your TMall purchase history.

Again, I’m not experienced with how it’s done for CN games so things might change. I’d keep an eye on the BtW Store (世界之外旗舰店) Bandai Namco Store (万代官方旗舰店) for the listing.
