Whether it's worth it will depend on the experience you're after. If by "worth it" you mean if you'll miss out on anything major that'll take away from the experience, then you don't have to worry. In fact, you're coming back at a very good time because it's anniversary.

The world most developed so far is the Cruise World (the first one) and the events mainly display the men's cores through different scenarios. Cards actually just fill in some short time skips so don't be too stressed about not getting them. Focus on building 3 World cards for your team, or at least 1 World and 2 Moon. Anything that's important will all be in the Main Missions and Side Mission which you unlock as you progress in reading. No level cap, no locking behind cards or stacking, nothing. It's all available to read in a chronological order.

8 Jan (in 6 hours) is when they'll start handing out free shards (up to 101) for the anniversary and CNY banners as long as you finish the first Main Mission. You shouldn't be too power-capped.

The first long event banner 度见春 Spring Equinox / Ghost Town is re-running on 15 Jan but the story is all in the event. Don't the FOMO catch you. You really don't need the card for content. It's all aesthetics...kinda. You can skim my thread if you want to decide if you want to go for the cards though.

Long events and birthday stories are all archived so as long as you complete your weekly missions, you'll get items to unlock each story section. You get 20 weekly. I can't recall how many is needed to unlock one story section but you should be able to read them slowly. Collapsing World stories are also archived and require another item to unlock. Again, not missing out much if you don't read immediately because there are rarely callbacks to these. But if you can't wait, Bilibili will have recordings which you can search by the event name or again you can skim my threads collected here. I have a bit of a backlog...

Netease is nice in that it will accept foreign numbers. What I recommend is to register your phone number with them in 大神, verify your foreign ID there with your passport then link that number to the game. There is an option of making an email with the @163.com domain as well, but you'd still have to find a way to verify your identity. This is on iOS. I think there might be some other options on Android but I'm not too sure coz last time I used it was in 2017. Either way, this verification should get you through to playing the game. Google around because Netease is pretty huge with their MMOs and music platform. There are bound to be guides in English as well.

hii i have been interested in btw so do you think it is worth to play now? and does need CN ID or anything (example like LN need to have wechat acc) to play? thank you in advance
